The biennial "Shanghai International Exhibition on Textile Industry" has been hailed as the best venue of elite gathering since it was first held in 1984. It creates an important platform for purchases of textile machinery and related products, and for the exchange of information technology. In the last exhibition (2013), the exhibiting area reached 103,500 square meters. 1,000 companies from 25 countries and regions displayed their products. The four-day exhibition attracted more than 53,183 visitors and buyers. 
The 17th International Exhibition on Textile Industry（SHANGHAITEX 2015） will be held on 15th-18th June 2015 at Shanghai New International Expo Center with scale of 100,000 square meters.
