The HFTW was successfully concluded on April 22nd 2017. During the one-week seminar, Texpro group and suppliers from around the world gathered with local buyers to discuss the prospects for the development of the industry and technology development trend.
India is the world's second largest textile and garment producer, rich in raw materials. The cotton production accounts for about 27% of the world. India has the world's largest youth population, 65% of its total population is under the age of 35. The demographic dividend will enable India to succeed in becoming a leading producer of labor-intensive products such as textile and apparel for the foreseeable future. In 2016, the Indian government announced that in the next three years, they will provide a special government subsidy of one billion US dollars a year for clothing and apparel manufacturers. Therefore, the Indian textile industry has huge prospects.
